coffee, Coffee, COFFEE!!!

Feeling kind of tired? groggy? or do you just need that extra boost to get you through the day? You might wanna reach for the nearest cup of coffee. If this is your closest cup, you might want to reconsider, unless you're carrying quite a bit of cash on you. This cup of coffee is the Most expensive coffee in the world. Originating in Indonesia, Kopi Luwak is made from eaten coffee beans, that have been partly digested, and finally excreted by the native Common Palm Civet. This weasel-like animal, referred to as "luwak", eats the raw red coffee beans. it digests the soft outer shell but does not digest the inner beans, thus excreting them.
This process changes the bitter flavor of the beans to a more unique and desirable flavor. Indonesian coffee or "Kopi", can cost up to $600 a pound and up to $50 per cup!Unless you have a pocket full of cash, I'd head over to the nearest Starbucks and pick up something a "little" more recession-friendly.

Trash? or Fashion?

Gary Harvey is the former Creative Director of Levi Strauss and Dockers Europe designer for Levi's. He began designing his environmentally friendly dresses during a freelance fashion campaign. His first idea involved 42 pairs of Levi Jeans and morphing them into a dress, and has been designing eco-fashion ever since. His first collection of eco-designs was showcased in February of this year at London Fashion Week for Estethica. Estethica is "the hotspot for ethical fashion, where designers will show collections founded on ecological and organic principles." This dress was made with cans, bottle tops and cardboard boxes. The world waits in anticipation as to what kind of design he'll create next!

World's Most Tattooed Women!!

Julia Gnuse got her first tattoo at the age of 35 steadily gaining more ink over the next 20 years. Some of Gnuse's tattoos seem like odd choices to have permanently inked to her body. Some of the tattoos include Doctor Seuss's Cat in the Hat, and pictures of the entire cast of Bewitched across her buttocks.
Gnuse first started getting tattoos, not because of a simple fashion statement, but as a way of dealing with Porphyria, a skin condition she was suffering from. Now, she has enough tattoos to completely cover 95% of her body.

Whale sharks are the largest sharksin the world. Growing to a length of about 65 feet (the length of about 1 1/2 school buses!) and weighing about 75,000 pounds, this streamlined fish is really a gentle giant. Some areas frequented by these sharks, such as Ningaloo Reef, Australia, have become popular tourist destinations because of their swim-with-sharks program.
